The online home for Rob Garrott

Rob started a decades long career in motion design, video editing, production and teaching in the early 1990s. He got swept up into the glamorous world of online education, email and spreadsheets in his mid 40s but what he really wanted to be when he grew up was a character animator and teller of stories. At the tender age of 57 he quit his swanky job and enrolled in the character animation program at Animation Mentor to learn how to bring polygons to life. Now in his 60s, Rob is on a mission to learn, create and grow for as long as he can. He doesn’t normally talk about himself in third person.
